The JEAA held a breakfast meeting at the Pomme d’Or Hotel on 2 July 2019 which was attended by 30 members in La Petite Pomme Suite.

Gill Hunt – President of the JEAA and Propertymark NAEA Regional Executive for the Channel Islands opened the event by welcoming members with a particular welcome to two new member firms, Huelin Homes and Gaudin & Co.

Gill gave an update on the Propertymark AGM and Presidents’ Dinner that she recently attended in London which welcomes the new Propertymark president for the coming year, Lauren Scott. It is hoped that Lauren as Propertymark President will come to Jersey in 2020 to host a Masterclass.

Two speakers attended the breakfast meeting - Geoffrey Blackstone FRICS of Wills Associates spoke on “How to get your property through a survey!” and Ben Davies of Gallery magazine spoke on the benefits of their property portal Places.

The meeting concluded with questions from the floor followed by Gill thanking everyone for attending.
