The JEAA held its first Breakfast Meeting of 2025 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, and the event was both well attended and well received by member firms.
The JEAA was pleased to welcome Deputy Sam Mezec, Housing Minister, who outlined the Department’s aims and objectives. Key topics included the First Time Buyer First Steps Scheme, the proposed new Residential Tenancy Law, and efforts to address homelessness.
The event was generously sponsored by Butterfield Bank, who provided valuable insights into their Retail and Bespoke lending capabilities, showcased interesting case studies, and offered an overview of both the global and local market conditions. A number of insightful questions were raised, leading to productive discussions.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to Deputy Mezec, and to Julian Woodcock, Ed Jones, Simon Herbert, and Harry Smith from Butterfield Bank for their time and support.
