Jersey Estate Agents’ Association (JEAA) Welcomes New President
Gill Hunt, FNAEA, owner of Hunt Estates, Christie’s International Real Estate’s exclusive affiliate in Jersey, has been elected as the new president of the Jersey Estate Agents’ Association, taking over from Nick Dodsley.
Catherine Buckley FRICS was re-elected Vice President.
Gill and Catherine have a huge amount of experience in the local property market and are keen to raise standards amongst estate agents for the benefit of their clients. They both support regulation within the industry and for agent members to undertake training and professional qualifications to ensure levels of professionalism in the industry.
Gill has over twenty-five years of experience in the Jersey property sector and covers the full range of residential properties for sale and rent.
Gill was a previous president of the JEAA and intends to bring over leading professionals from the UK’s Propertymark to help increase the standards of good practice locally.
Gill is also the Regional Executive in the island for Propertymark which is the industry-leading Professional Body for estate agents.
Commenting on her appointment, Gill said, “I am delighted to become the new President of the JEAA. We have a strong committee with whom I will work closely, and together we will strive to ensure that more estate agents become members of the JEAA and undertake professional training. By adhering to professional codes of conduct, we can ensure that clients are protected.”
